Joe Hilton and members of the Australian national team are well underway with their preparations for the 2008 IFMA Championships being held as part of the TAFISA World Sport For All Games.

Joe says this is a tremedous opportunity for our athletes to be showcased in a multi-sport environment.

Many of the athletes are still looking for sponsorship and our Federation office can make the necessary contacts for any of our supporters who may wish to assist the team.

Channel 7 recently filmed Heather O'Donnell and the boys going through their paces. Please have a look at the footage attached.

Welcome To The Oceania MuayThai Federation Website

The Oceania Federation of the World Muaythai Council ("WMC") has been given the task by the WMC of representing the sport of Muaythai in Australia, New Zealand and our surrounding island neighbours.

Currently, there are over 100 member nations of the WMC.

The Oceania Federation is a "not for profit" association. Our aim is to support the sport of Muaythai whilst maintaining stringent standards to ensure participant safety.

International Federation of Muaythai Amateur (IFMA) is now a member of the General Association of International Sports Federations (GAISF).  GAISF membership means IFMA and the WMC are regarded by the rest of the sporting world including FIFA, FINA and the IRB as the sole world governing body for the sport of Muaythai.

Trainers like 'Nugget' McNaught, Joe Hilton, Mark Pease, Alan Wong, Tony Favuzzi, Bill Seth and Wayne Parr are part of the WMC because they know the WMC wants only the best for the sport.

If you want to be trained or you want your trainer to find fights for you please contact our trainers.
